Well, the Pixels may not be as hyped up as the iPhones. But if you’ve had the chance to hold any of the beauty from the series, you’d know the series’ worth all our attention (mind you, we’re not saying there’s a competition here!). And so, despite the recent release of Google Pixel 5, we cannot help but wonder what exactly with Google Pixel 6 pack together. Pixel 5 was surely an improvised version of its predecessor, gaining massive popularity. Consequently, our expectations from the upcoming variant are, more or less, a level higher. How exactly, let’s have a detailed look.
Google Pixel 6: Release Date & Price
As of now, Google itself has not released any statements, documents, or anything that can give us a clear direction about the release date and price. However, that’s where the jobs of stats analytics and prediction steps in!
Release Date
Surprisingly, Google is very regular and consistent about its release dates. According to stats, it has released all the Pixel phones by the end of the year.
Rumors found at some forums predict the release of Google Pixel 6 by the summer of 2021, with an official announcement in March.
However, sticking to the facts, we predict Google Pixel 6 release date to be in October 2021. It will be probably by the first or second week of the month.

So, the upcoming phone might have the same price as the Pixel 5 ($699). Or, things might take a turn with Google Pixel 6 priced at $799 that is upper mid-range.
- Premium
In normal circumstances, we expect the Google Pixel 6 cost to touch the high-end range. The phone might come in $899 to $999 price range.

Here are some Pixel 6 news and leaks that we have found:
- Recently, an official document leaked that mentioned terms; raven, oriole, and passport. These are most-possibly Google code names with raven and oriole referring to the Pixel 6 models.
The term passport must be referring to the foldable phone that is also an upcoming model by Google.
So, we are likely to see two different variants entering the market this October!
- One website, named Slashleaks, published an image from the Google patent that got filed recently. The image portrays an upcoming model with a sub-screen camera.
It means that Google is planning a future smartphone with the front camera underneath the surface. Hopefully, Google might fulfill our expectation of an innovative camera in Pixel 6!
Will Google Pixel 6 be worth it?
Things are just flying around, and we still don’t have sufficient data to conclude the worthiness of the upcoming Pixel model. Although the Pixel range has always performed well, the addition of some specifications can certainly change the game. Let’s hope Google Pixel 6 hits all those bonus points!
